Meet our teachers:
Thomas Mordaunt, our drum teacher and director, is currently studying at Humber Polytechnic in the Bachelor of Music program. He started his musical journey at a young age, first playing in his church's worship team at age 9, and has since studied with some of the world's most renowned drum performers and educators. Thomas has always had a love for music education, and his desire is to teach new drummers to understand and execute the role of a drummer to a high level.
David Verceles, our piano teacher, is a performing musician, composer, and arranger who has close to 20 years of experience under his belt. David is currently finishing his Bachelor of Music degree at Humber Polytechnic, weaving his college studies with a classical background and gospel experience to form a free-flowing approach to the piano. His teaching style is reflected in his musical journey - rooted in classical fundamentals but featuring the fun, flexible musical nature of jazz and gospel.
Zander Llemos, our guitar and bass teacher, is currently studying Business Management at Ryerson University. Music has always been his passion and has been a long-standing part of his life. Zander has had the pleasure of playing guitar and bass as a part of Church on the Queensway's worship team for several years now and wants share the gift of music with each of his students. His goal is to equip each one of his students to understand and play music to a high level.
